Description: In the story of The Sleeping Beauty, a young princess sleeps for a hundred years hidden in a palace waiting to be awakened with a kiss. The vegetation of the forest prevents anyone from approaching.
Based on this idea, the choreographer Jean Philippe Dury remakes the story wondering how much hidden beauty is waiting to be discovered. The rereading of this fairy tale proposes a fun role play that allows you to deepen equality.
All roles, princes, princesses, fairies, sorcerers or witches can be exchanged, as if it were a dream. Thus, he develops a fresh, youthful and passionate amusement where there are as many “Sleeping Beauties” as there are people. The spectator does not know who the princess is and who the prince is. Who sleeps or who is awake.
