Event Details

Performance: “No Hay Flores Inútiles”

Choreography: Marco Blázquez

Place: Teatro Real Coliseo de Carlos III San Lorenzo de El Escorial

Description: No hay flores inútiles (There are not useless flowers) is the last show of choreographer Marco Blázquez produced by Elephant in the Black Box. A co-creation with texts by the poet Nuria Ruiz de Viñaspre and dramaturgy of the actress and stage director Paula Soldevila.
Articulated around the dream world of Federico García Lorca, No hay flores inútiles propose a look at the past, but without losing the horizon line at any time. Without forgetting, move towards a new world. That fine wind that comes from the familiar scent of some distant relative. A playful game where dance, music and poetry coexist and that puts the magnifying glass beyond the dimensions of modernity, in a new human architecture and in the revolution of new parameters.
